About Pittugram

Pittugram is a single place to read sports news instead of visiting a dozen different sites. It works like Hacker News, but for sports: links are aggregated automatically from major sports RSS feeds, and anyone can also submit a link directly. Logged-in users can vote stories up or down and discuss them in threaded comments; ranking is a classic points-vs-age formula, so what rises to the top is a mix of what’s new and what’s actually getting attention.

It’s built and run by one person — Sarvottam Kumar — a sports enthusiast who got tired of checking a dozen different sites every day just to keep up. Pittugram started as a personal project to solve that for myself, and turned into something worth sharing once it was clear other fans would want the same thing.

It’s an independent project, not affiliated with any of the publications whose feeds it aggregates. Every link points back to the original publisher; Pittugram just indexes and ranks them.
